August ROTM #2, Saturday 8/7

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I will be unable to ride Sunday morning 8/1. I'm sorry. So let's do this, we'll do 2 ROTM's. Sunday night 8/1 and, weather permitting a night ride. I will post is separately.

ROTM #2 will be Saturday morning, 8/7. I have already got the meet-up and route planned

This is about 80 miles. We start from the university area, out to and over Gates Pass, then a loop out around Avra Valley. (This isn't the same route as the last time we went out this way.) Then back over Twin Peaks, along Camino de Oeste and back to Tucson.

I think I can make this one -- sounds like a nice, long ride.

Even though I was only there for about 3 miles, I had a good time.

Maybe next time I can do a longer ride.

Howard.....ya did good. The ride was fun, the company outstanding and you even managed to find some roads that I'd never ridden before......thank you.

The only thing that could have possibly made this ride better was if you'd scheduled a stop at a Dairy Queen!
