This classic maxi-scooter is for sale by a founding member of the Green Valley/Sahuarita Scooter Club. It features 460cc electronic fuel injected engine, full-function digital and analog instrumentation, top-of-line Brembo disk brakes and side-view mirrors with built-in turn signals. This is the most compact scooter in the maxi class, very maneuverable in traffic, and quite capable and comfortable for interstate travel. 55-58 mpg. Large underseat storage plus 52-litre Piaggio topbox with backrest. Other accessories include a new, enlarged Givi windscreen, scooter cover, etc. Professionally maintained, and in superb condition. The 76-year-old owner just fulfilled a need for one more scooter. So, X9, loved as it is, is looking for a lucky new owner. Only $3,000.

Beautiful scooter. And it's just the size I've been thinking of. Any idea what year it is and how many miles are on it?

Howard, give Jack a call; his number is in the For Sale notice. We just came back from a breakfast ride down to Tubac. Jack is selling the X9 because he bought a Burgman, so he could be like everyone else in the club (except me).

Howard,
I'll try again........My X9 purchased in '05. It moved with us to Green valley in '07. It's always been professionally maintained as I'm no mechanic. At Renaissance on Speedway since arrival.

Last 1550 miles oil change/filter, new transmission belt, clean rollers, drive and pulley, remove glaze on clutch pads and drum. New front rotor disc and pads. New Givi enlarged windscreen. Front fork/steering
cleaned and repack bearings, water pump ring kit installed. 40 miles ago a new rear rotor disc and pads.

This cherry X9 with 27,200 loved miles is looking for continued love. I've become 76 already and for some strange reason felt I needed just one more scooter. That's basically it.
