W00t! I changed my own gear oil and spark plug today on the Stella. It's not a complicated process, by any means, nevertheless, I got a great sense of satisfaction after having done it. I took some pictures along the way and I'm posting them here. I hope that it may help someone along the way. I will consider doing a video at some point as well.

First, I had to remove the crash guards off the rear right to access the cowl.

Next remove the shroud. Mine had 2 screws and one 11mm nut. Remove them all and gently work the shroud loose.

Found this oil squirter at Auto Zone for $7. Should work great but only holds 117ml.

Make sure you remove the tiny little scap on the top of the plug.
I always wondered what purpose that shroud served. It's currently sitting in a corner of my garage, looking ugly, until I can think of some use for it. Finding an oil can/injector that will hold the full amount and effectively deliver it to the gearbox is still a problem. You'd think that Genuine or ScooterWorks would have seized the opportunity to put something like that on the market.
Great idea! I believe that WalMart has them for a buck apiece. I don't know how they'll stand up to oil over time, but even if you used up one per oil change, you'd still be ahead.
